This special CTC production is part of our Conservatory Artist Development Program, giving students the opportunity to work in a focused, professional-style environment with an intimate cast, live musicians, and a creative team dedicated to developing their artistry.

More than a performance, The Fantasticks is an opportunity for these young artists to take the next step toward collegiate and pre-professional musical theatre training, building confidence, discipline, collaboration, and a deeper connection to their craft.

Young Frankenstein

December 11-13 & 18-20th, 2026

Emily Gates Theatre at San Marin High School - San Rafael

Young Frankenstein is Mel Brooks' riotous musical adaptation of his beloved 1974 film comedy. The story follows Frederick Frankenstein, an American brain surgeon determined to escape his infamous grandfather's legacy — until he inherits the family castle in Transylvania and can't resist picking up where the mad experiments left off. With the help of the wild-eyed Igor, bombshell assistant Inga, and secretive housekeeper Frau Blücher, Frederick brings a Monster to life, and chaos, romance, and mayhem follow.

Packed with outrageous humor, tap-dancing, and unforgettable numbers like "Puttin' on the Ritz," it's an affectionate send-up of classic horror that's bold, irreverent, and full of heart.
